Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) Program has been implementing by FFDA at Dohar and Savar Upazila under Dhaka District with the financial support of Department of Women Affairs (DWA) under the Ministry of Women & Children Affairs (MWCA) and the project will continue up to December 31, 2020. The VGD is the largest safety net program of the Government of Bangladesh that exclusively targets ultra poor households.

Pregnant Mother allowance training Program has been implementing by FFDA at Keranigonj Upazila under Dhaka District with the financial support of Department of Women Affairs (DWA) under the Ministry of Women & Children Affairs (MWCA) and the project will continue up to December 31, 2022.

FFDA has been implementing the Early Childhood Development or Pre-Primary education program with the financial and Technical support by USA based donor. The main purpose of the program is to ensure education for the children fewer than 6 and providing early childhood education. Children are getting education on reading, writing and calculating through game, amusement and drawing.

FFDA treats the training as an integral part of the programs. The organization has established a training unit with potential trainers. The Unit continuously has been developing the training materials and curriculum to conduct training to the beneficiary and other stakeholders.   Established training teams are involved to conduct the training to the beneficiary and other stakeholder to build their capacity to increase the organizational and program performance. The training team would play important role in developing some need based

From the commitment to the development of the poor people, FFDA has been implementing Health, Family Planning and HIV/AIDS Program with the organizational own financial resource. The key objective of the program is to raise awareness among the targeted population on Health, Family Planning and HIV/AIDS/STDs to improve the health status through reducing population growth, increase access to health related services and stop the spread of STDs/HIV/AIDS.

FFDA has been implementing Water Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion project with own financial resources since inception of the organization. The key objective to attain the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) with a view to contribute to ensure the sanitation for all through providing sanitation related services to the people living in the working area of the organization. The organization is now planning to provide some special loan support to the participants so that they can install sanitary latrine. The key target of the program is to contribute to PRSP and Millennium Development Goal through increasing the water and sanitation as well as hygiene related service for the poor people and household as well.   

FFDA also has been implementing the “Adolescent Development Program” with its own financial resources. The key purpose of the program is to raise awareness among the adolescent girl on different important development issues related to their lives such as human rights, child rights, dowry, polygamy, early marriage, birth registration, eve teasing, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, gender discrimination, violence against women, gender based discrimination, violation of rights, ways to protect the rights, torture, repression and causes of deprivation in the family as well as in the society.  

It has already been mentioned that FFDA is a rights based organization and committed to establish rights of the poor people with special emphasis to the women and adolescent. FFDA has also been implementing the Rights and Social Justice program with the own financial resources. The main focus of the program is to protect the  rights and social justice of the poor and hard-core poor men, women and children irrespective of caste, creed, religion, culture and ethnicity through awareness raising and taking appropriate protection measures. 

FFDA has been observing most of the national and international days with its own financial resources have no funding from donor agencies. The main purpose of the of Day Observation is to increase the mass awareness and understanding on different rights based and development issues and help the people understand of the significance of the days.  FFDA also use it as part of advocacy strategies to sensitize the government officials and other key stakeholders.  

Disabled persons have the right to medical, psychological and functional treatment, including prosthetic and orthotic appliances, to medical and social rehabilitation, education, vocational training and rehabilitation, aid, counselling, placement services and other services.
